The centrepiece of this programme is the deeply poetic song cycle WHITE SONGS composed by Andris Dzenītis to Aleksandra Line’s texts, written expressly for Reinis Zariņš and the unique voice of Jānis Šipkēvics. For a dramatic conclusion of the programme, Reinis and Jānis is joined by Mārtiņš Klišāns in Britten’s canticle Abraham & Isaac.
